Known Sites of Dryland Short Tussock Grassland Communities
Dryland short tussock grassland communities are found in lowland zones of Central Otago, Mackenzie and Marlborough where annual rainfall is below 500mm (extending into areas with 800mm annual rainfall on NW aspects). Some of these have been documented in scientific papers, reports or Protected Natural Area Survey Reports.
