<TD>This is a prototype soil condition assessment and information system
developed under a contract with FORST. The information provided is to demonstrate
the concept only and in no way should it be used for real management.
The next page is a sample data where the results of a soil test can be
entered. Three methods (or graphic user interfaces) are provided for the
evaluation of the data against known requirements for different potential
land uses. A real version of the system, would extract the information
required for each soil type /landuse from a database . Ultimately management information on how to correct soil problems or reach the required values for a use would be provided as well.
